Scope and Content:
Item is a sketch of the Crawley Estate on Amelia Point, as sketched by Hetty Kimber from across the water.

The Crawley Estate occupied an enormous amount of land near Petersfield before it was lost to fire in 1894. Captain Thomas Crawley, the Surveyor-General for Cape Breton, acquired the Mathews and Peters properties and built his large estate on the tip of Amelia Point.
