Scope and Content: 
Item is a watercolor painting of the remains of the King's Bastion casements at the Fortress of Louisbourg prior to its reconstruction. Given to Katharine McLennan from Anne Crawley, this watercolor by an unknown artist was presented with a printed note that says that the freestone was used to construct the Fortress of Louisbourg.

Notes: Item was included in a scrapbook that was compiled by Katharine McLennan, who donated the scrapbook to the Cape Breton Regional Library.
