Scope and Content:
Item is a photograph of the home of J.S. McLennan in Louisbourg, known as "Havenside." McLennan had a great interest in the history surrounding the ruins of the Fortress that were found there and spent a great deal of time supporting its excavation and reconstruction. The family would stay at Havenside during their summer visits to Cape Breton.
