Item is a letter from Katharine McLennan to Isabel Farley, dated 30 July 1918. In the letter, Katharine describes how busy she has been at the hospital in Pontoise, and gives of a description of the physical hospital space. She also makes note of a serum that is now being used with the patients, discusses new staff members, and describes the work schedule that she and the other nurses must follow.
