Item is a letter from F.C. Kimber sent to Katharine McLennan during her time serving with the Red Cross during World War I. The letter focuses on an assortment of topics, but focuses primarily on the devastation of the Halifax Explosion, the city's need for health care workers, donations and contributions from Americans to aid in rebuilding and helping the injured, and the imprisonment of German citizens in the city. In addition to discussing the Explosion, Kimber mentions developments in Canadian politics.
