Item is a photograph of Katharine McLennan sitting atop a hill in Scotland, surveying the countryside. Katharine stopped to visit Scotland before returning to Canada in May, 1918. After her time spent volunteering as a nursing assistant in the War, she would never act as a nurse again, but would forever be impacted by her wartime experience.
