Scope and Content: 
Item is a photograph of the Dundonald Monument that was erected near the Fortress of Louisbourg site. Earl Dundonald, otherwise known as William Cochrane, took part in the Second Siege and was killed in action.

Notes: Item was included in a scrapbook that was compiled by Katharine McLennan, who donated the scrapbook to the Cape Breton Regional Library.
