Item is a photograph of the tower of Soissons Cathedral in Soissons, France, which was greatly damaged due to bombing. Katharine McLennan, who had in the early war years photographed the beauty of rural France, captured a series of photographs showing the devastation that the War had caused in locations near her posting in Vasseny.
